CHRISTINE RENNE of Renne Law, PLLC has a civil litigation and outside general counsel practice in the greater Houston area. She is a graduate of Bucknell University and the University Of San Francisco School Of Law. Christine started practicing at a litigation firm in San Francisco handling matters for two scuba diving certification associations and complex commercial matters. In 1995 she moved to Houston, Texas and went to work for a Houston firm becoming a partner in 2000. At the end of 2016 Christine decided to move her active practice to The Woodlands, TX which is where she lives. During her tenure as a lawyer she has handled a range of complex commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on professional malpractice, shareholder disputes, airport security matters, property and equine matters.
Her outside general counsel duties allow her to provide counsel to companies and farms and non-profit entities that are not in a position to employ a full time general counsel, but nonetheless have important legal needs. Almost every year she attends the National Equine Law Conference in Lexington, KY and in 2016 was asked to be a speaker at the conference. Christine has always been an avid equestrian starting off in the hunter jumper realm, transitioning to endurance while in California, and currently competing in Dressage at USDF recognized shows. She is currently the President of the Houston Dressage Society. She is married with three sons who are in college and high school.
