Besides being a wife and mom to two incredible grown kids, both in college, Krista is a passionate, professional and resourceful Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning with approximately 25 years in the Human Services field, combined with over 40 years experience in the Equine Industry, serving others, encouraging personal growth and learning through the healing power of horses, in both personal and group settings. She did her undergraduate studies in Human Development and Family Studies, with a Minor in Substance Abuse Studies, at Texas Tech University, and her graduate studies in Social Work at the University of Houston. She is a Professional Association Therapeutic Horsemanship [PATH] Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health, an Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association [EAGALA] I, II Certified Equine Specialist, and an American Riding Instructors Association [ARIA] Certified Riding Instructor.

She has spent a lifetime advocating, educating and counseling women, children and families, and in every aspect of equine care, training and riding. She is thrilled to be serving those who serve us in this chapter of her life, as well as caring for this herd of approximately 30 horses.
