Faith, family and friends (both two and four legged), these are the governing forces in my life! I can best describe myself as a wife, mother, junior high teacher, sports enthusiast, and animal lover. My husband Trevor, the Director of the Tennis Program at The Woodlands Country Club, and I, are the proud parents of three amazing children; Gabby, Gavin and Emery. Our love for all animals has prompted us to rescue and rehome dozens of dogs and cats near our home in The Woodlands where we have lived since our children were very young. I believe that animals teach us to be kind and compassionate towards others.
My enthusiasm for animals, especially horses, began at an early age and has continued to grow throughout my life. The benefits of the human-animal bond has been researched for years and has been scientifically documented to relieve the stress of our daily lives. There’s no doubt in my mind that animals can help us heal! There has been no better place for me to enjoy the godsend favor of the human-horse bond than Henry’s Home, Horse and Human Sanctuary. I am blessed to be a part of this amazing organization!
