National Charity Roundtable
National Charity Roundtable is a non-profit organization in which young men work with their parents to volunteer in the community serving area philanthropies. NCR offers great opportunities for involvement and for enrichment of skills as young men grow from 7th grade junior high school through 12th grade.
The National Charity Roundtable (NCR) first began in June of 2001, when a group of parents in The Woodlands, Texas, decided to start a charitable organization serving local philanthropies with parents and their sons. The Woodlands Chapter of the National Charity Roundtable is the founding chapter of the National Charity Roundtable, Inc. NCR is non-political, nonsectarian, and non-profit in all policies and activities. NCR currently has 170 families with sons in 7th through 12th grades, serving over 40 philanthropies in The Woodlands and South Montgomery County areas.
Our local chapter started volunteering with us at the beginning of 2020 and come every Saturday morning to work on whatever we need done that day. It’s wonderful to see these young men learning how to work with their hands, building confidence, and having fun, along-side parent mentors as well as our volunteer and veteran mentors.
