TMR Rescue

OUR MISSION
TMR Rescue [Texas Miracle Ranch], a 501c3 located in Plantersville, TX, is home to over 400 rescued donkeys, mules, and horses, both wild and domestic. We are on a mission to change long held misconceptions about longears, and give them back their rightful place in the history books. We provide our equines with their veterinary needs, nutrition, and rehabilitation, as well as providing them with the love and compassion that some of them have never known.

Henry’s Home’s first visit with Johnny, the founder, and Marjorie, the equine manager, resulted in a tour of their over 200 acre property.  Riding around with them on an ATV, taking their big boxes of carrots to share with all the equine, is quite an experience.  They know and love every one of their rescued and donated donkeys, mules and horses.  We knew right away that if we ever needed another animal for our herd, we would adopt them from TMR if possible, to help them lighten their load just a tiny bit.  If you are ever wanting to adopt an equine, we recommend you go here first.  And if you live in the Plantersville area, they are always grateful for volunteers to help with everything.
