I grew up working in a family retail-service business which became the largest in its industry nationwide. In time, I ventured out on my own and started or bought, and built several businesses including; a full-service administrative management company; an electronics company which specialized in the development and marketing of proprietary microchip products; and a full-service sign business.

Today I serve as a Silver Fox Advisor, a mentoring/consulting association, which serves the greater Houston business community as well as a number of area entrepreneurial education programs. Currently I also host a weekly business radio show, “The Weekly Business Show”, on Montgomery County’s community radio station, Lone Star Community Radio.

I also am active in community affairs; currently serving as a member of Development Board of UT Health and member of the Advisory Council to UT Graduate School of Biomedical Science; Trustee and Vice-President of a private foundation. In the past I have been a director of the Greater Houston YMCA, past Chairman of its Board (2011) as well as various committees, and both Annual and Capital Campaigns.

I hold a B.B.A. with Honors (Real Estate/Finance) from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Bates College of Law at The University of Houston. I met Donna just a couple years after she incorporated Henry’s Home and have watched the progress this nonprofit has made over the years. The work they do is important, and Donna’s leadership is inspirational.
